THE BALTIC VIBE. ELEMENTS
ARTISTIC DESIGN MADE IN BALTICS
SATELLITE EXHIBITIONS DURING MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2022
07.06.2022 -10.06.2022
The Baltic Vibe is a project conceived and developed by the Latvian artist Valentīna Kovaļišina (Valentinaki). The aim is to promote the masterpieces of young designers from the Baltic countries and, through their creations, to raise the awareness of Baltic culture and its excellence. The Milan Design Week seen as the encounter and confrontation among styles and traditions, is considered the ideal showcase to inaugurate the project.
The exhibition contains artistic design objects created by young Baltic designers inspired by Baltic nature and classical elements. Six female designers and one architect from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia were invited to participate in the exhibition with design objects made of glass, ceramics and stone.
