Artist based in Riga, Latvia. Currently studying in Art Academy of Latvia Ceramic department. Beatrise is interested in creation of objets that embody some kind of experience that she has once encountered. These objects could be pieces of themselves or form a larger scale installation that includes mixed media. Her practise deals with nostalgia, space and time.

Candle holder that has a form and texture of a mountain. By burning a candle in the middle, candle holder symbolises one's self enlightenment that might happen during the journey in the mountains.
